The original packaging of this demo featured the title "LEARN ALL THE WORDS AND SING ALONG AT OUR SHOWS" but that never stuck, so DEMO 2006 it is.
The beauty of this dirty lil bastard of a recording is that the instrument tracking was done in a high school classroom where Steve used to teach and the vocals were done in Matt's old Dorm room at UNC-Asheville. The gang vocals you hear are the folks who all lived on Matt's hall and had no idea who the rest of us were at the time. We just taught them the words and the rest came out sounding huge, which is more than I can say about poor Dave's drums on this record. This was given away or sold for a couple of bucks at our shows for the first few months we were a band before we put it online. This is also the only record of the original line up of JD! featuring Joey Airborne on bass and Nate Thomas on guitar.
